Which one will you try first? #thehappygal #quinoarecipes #quinoa #healthyrecipes”]

If you love healthy eating, or if you are trying to make it a part of your life, then you are probably hearing some buzz about quinoa. I’m just loving this little “grain.” It is said to be the food that comes closest to supplying “all the essential life-sustaining nutrients” (Philip White.) I don’t plan on putting this to test, but I do appreciate the alternative to rice, and the added protein source for salads and other recipes. When I can, I always choose protein from plant rather than animal sources. I hope one or two of these amazing recipes catch your eye. And if not, simply substitute quinoa for a side of rice with any of your favorite dishes. Either way, quinoa is a great food to add to your diet. And be sure to leave a comment with your favorite quinoa recipe.
